For this project, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with a talented team to design a custom Player Edition (PE) shoe(s) for Kelsey Plum, celebrating her participation in the Paris Olympics as a part of Team USA. Our collective effort aimed to encapsulate the spirit and colors of Team USA while incorporating performance-driven elements to enhance Kelsey’s on-court experience.

The shoe features a dynamic combination of performance materials and patriotic aesthetics. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the design elements we focused on as a team
Heel Panel: The heel panel showcases a bold sublimated print in red, white, and blue camouflage, symbolizing the strength and unity of Team USA. This print adds a unique, eye-catching element to the shoe.
Webbing: The webbing is presented in a deep red, adding a strong visual contrast and tying into the overall color scheme of the shoe.
Lining: The lining is a rich navy blue, providing a cohesive look and complementing the other colors in the design.
Overlay: Like the heel panel, the overlay also features the sublimated print, extending the patriotic theme throughout the shoe.
Print Text: The Under Armour logo and other text elements are presented in a sleek silver, adding a metallic sheen that enhances the premium feel of the shoe.
